For Board Members


As a CAC Board member, you have the privilege to access the many features and functions available exclusively to the Board.

In order to access the Board site, you must:

  1. Be signed in to the Google account that is associated with the email address at which you receive Board correspondence (from cacpittsburgh-board@googlegroups.com). See below how to set this up.
  2. Click on the Board link at the bottom of any web page on this website. Or go here.

How to sign in for CAC Board access:

•—  If you are receiving Board correspondence at a Gmail address:

You should be all set! Just be signed in to your Gmail (and hence your Google account), and you will have access to the Board site.

•—  If you: a) are receiving Board correspondence at an email address not ending in gmail.com, and b) DO NOT have a Google account:

(Note: if you have a smartphone or tablet computer with Android, you most likely have a Google account – see the next section instead.)

Go to www.google.com to create a Google account. Create the account using the current email address at which you receive Board correspondence. Follow the instructions provided to complete account registration.

•—  If you: a) are receiving Board correspondence at an email address not ending in gmail.com, but b) DO have a Google account:

You have two choices:

1. Link your email address to your existing Google account (preferred method).

You will use your existing Google account to access the Board site. If you have an Android smartphone or tablet and wish to access the Board site from it, use the Google account associated with it.

  • Go to myaccount.google.com. Sign in to your account if necessary.
  • In the "Personal info & privacy" section, select "Your personal info."
  • Choose "Email."
  • If "Advanced" appears, choose that. Then next to "Alternate emails," select "Add alternate email."
  • Otherwise, choose "Alternate emails," and select "Add other email."
  • Enter your email address associated with Board correspondence, and select "Add."

2. Establish another Google account, associating it with your CAC email address.

Use this method if you are having problems with Method 1 above. (This alternative may result in a less-simplified experience in the future.) Follow the instructions above for those who don't have a Google account. Once you have the account set up, you should be able to access all the member features of this site, but you must be signed in to this new Google account and not any other.
